Marin Marka, MS, OTR/L is a board certified pediatric occupational therapist with over a decade of experience as a music teacher. She graduated summa cum laude with a BA in child study and human development from Tufts University. She then went on to receive her master of science in Occupational Therapy from Boston University. She admits that she just got those degrees so she could play for a living (...research-based play).

 

Marin has sung professionally on a nationally televised program on ABC and video game trailers with the New York Film Chorale. With a little help from her opera singer supermom, Marin was also able to achieve 9 consecutive gold ratings in piano at the annual Schubert Club YMF competition.

 

She’s been adapting piano lessons to include children with disabilities for 7 years and has a passion for making music accessible for all.  Marin currently works as a pediatric occupational therapist for a school district and a private clinic and teaches music.
